Explore the Southern Stars on kunanyi / Mt Wellington

Inside a mountain hut warmed by the roaring fire you'll soak up the powerful stories of  wurangkili liwari / night sky shared by Pakana (Tasmanian Aboriginal) woman and UTAS Senior Indigenous Scholar Theresa Sainty. Explore the southern night sky starting with the Moon and our solar system. Depending on the time of year we may be able to see other planets of our solar system. Then we'll look further out to the milky way and into deep space.

We will spend an extended period outside in the cold and advise you pack your warmest clothing.
